This post has been a long time coming this year ;) I'm going to be honest - there were A LOT of things I wnated to get done in here before I shared BUT it is what it is at this point ;) hahaha
When I started teaching 20 years ago I started off in this classroom. I was in here for a few years, then in a portable building for a few years, and then have been back in this room for probably 8 years. When I took on my new role as student life director I was asked to stay in my classroom (I have A LOT of things to store, host a lot of student meetings, and I'm teaching an elective class) but Bible classes also meet in here for a good portion of the day.
Since I was shifting roles I wanted the room to feel different - less mathy and more school spirit, etc.
I replaced my "show your work" banner with house flags I made. I have the supplies to make a bunch more but just haven't had the time.
I took down my big "Vine and Branches" wall and gave those signs to our elementary school office and instead got these hangers to hang up one of my t-shirt quilts. This is the only one I've personally made and has shirts from my first years of teaching.

The boxes under the window are from a House game and are being reused for a pep rally SOOOOO they're just anging here for now and in the far corner is my chromebook cart and a cooler that I've been using for popsicles ;) hahaha
There's also a drum box that we use for MS chapel and I just realized that I need to change the quote on the big chalkboard. SIGH.
My desk area is pretty much the same... with a giant House flag on the ground because one of the outdoor holders broke. hahaha
This rug is still my FAVORITE!

I still have my nugget couch in the corner and it gets drug out and used pretty much every day ;)
Pool noodles, water guns, and plants - oh my ;)
I am loving this big calendar for planning and visualizing the whole year...
This corner is kind of a disaster at the moment. I'm working on some better storage solutions but for now and with the time I've had here's where I'm at ;) SIGH
NOT CUTE.
And there you have it! Where I spend MOST of my time during the week. Kind of the same as usual but also kind of different! Hope you enjoyed the little glimpse into my home away from home!
HAPPY Thursday, friends!
