Teen/Tween Girl Shopping Finds

Y'all know that I have always LOVED dressing G - picking out clothes, making outfits, all the things. That said - finding clothes for a pre-teen/teenage girl is NOT for the faint of heart ;) Finding things that she feels good in, loves to wear, are comfortable (because duh!) and are what we feel are age appropriate can be a challenge. Sizing is hard at this age, they're growing like weeds and then you throw in the added challenge of bras and it's just a whole thing ;) hahaha. I get asked often about what G is wearing so I thought I'd share a few "wins" we've had lately in the clothing department as well as a few stores that she really likes.  I will say - our struggles are WAY LESS than others since she's in a uniform Monday - Friday... GODSPEED to those of y'all with girls that you're trying to clothe 7 days a week ;) hahaha

I just ordered her this tank top....

G really likes a lot of the pieces from Abercrombie Kids and I feel like they're the perfect mix of grownup without being super mature. They are well-made and she's had several tops and dresses that she's gotten multiple seasons of wear out of.

This dress is currently out of stock in her size but I'm waiting for it to come back.

She's had this dress in various patterns/sizes over the years and it's always a winner. It's lined on the inside and is super comfy and easy to wear.

This top would be super versatile and easy to wear with denim shorts or pants...

... same with this one and the yellow floral is so sweet.

I love this color/pattern for summer.

G has had this dress from Janie and Jack in multiple sizes/colors over the years as well and it's been great for school functions, church, and other casual spring/summer events.

Zara is where I'd say I get most of her clothes BUT it can be hit or miss depending on the season. Sometimes she's able to find A TON that she likes and other seasons there's slim pickings.

She wore this dress for Easter and then to a grad party this weekend. It's SO PRETTY!

Has this tank in multiple colors and LOVES THEM!

And Zara's denim shorts and Marine fit jeans are her go-tos.  She also recently got a pair of Zara barrel jeans that she loves.

These overalls have been on repeat this Spring - she typically wears them with one of these baby tees.

I just ordered G this sweater for summer - so cute to throw on with denim shorts over a bathing suit!

And I grabbed these $10 shorts to pair with it as well. We love an Americana moment!

Other staples in G's closet are Aelfric Eden hoodies (which I always snag on sale on Amazon)...

...G wears a lot of Christian tees - and I order them from this site. They take a minute to ship but the shirts are relaly good quality and there's a ton of variety.

As far as shorts go - she wears these all the time. Are they Lulu? No. Does she care? No. ;) I'm sure she'll care at some point - but not enough now to fork over the cash for those. hahaha

For dressier stuff she still LOVES  a little glitter and a more fun feel and for that she'll typically find something from Lola and the Boys ;) This is the dress she just wore to her Spring dance for school.

I already have a swimsuit post in the works and promise to share more of our finds in the future. If you have other brands/shops that you love I'd love to hear about them - leave a comment below so we can all see it ;) HAPPY MONDAY!
