Christmas Eve

We kicked off Christmas with brunch with my brother and his family.  It's loud and busy and SO MANY BOYS but we wouldn't have it any other way.

Highlights included a money counting jar along with a bag of coins for Davis...

... and lots of G and Jack time ;)

We opened presents, colored and some of us wielded scissors around ;)

I made nanaimo bars and I'm pretty sure Bennett ate half the pan which is fine because I'm also sure he likes them more than anybody else ;)

After brunch and presents and lots of hanging out time we headed to church...

... and then back to our house for dinner and games with my parents.

We typically do scratch-offs for fun and this year the kids each got a few but then could win more via a few "reindeer games".

It was hilarious and we'll definitely add this to our Christmas Eve traditions.

Since we were playing games I decided that Dave needed to open his gift from me... a handmade Rummoli board!

We played games and ate lasagna....

... and then played more games, watched a Christmas movie and then got everything set out for Santa.

Couldn't have asked for a better Christmas Eve!
