Playroom Christmas

Our upstairs loft/playroom is officially DECKED and it's my absolute favorite place to hang out with the kids because it is SO MUCH FUN!

The tree always steals the show - it gets more overloaded every year but somehow it just adds to the appeal :)

We put it on this side of the couch this year and I love how it looks with the art the kids made.

I. Mean.

Nothing says festive like Santa in a rocket ship and a disco ball.

The ornaments are from all over.  Target, anthropologie, Urban Outfitters, Michaels, etc. and the garlands are old homegoods finds.

The monogram wreaths on the kids doors were from Ballard Designs a few years ago...

... and we switched out the bookcase to hold lots of Christmas books and a few favorite nativities.

We added  this garland to the vintage screen...

... and I love how it goes perfectly with the advent calendar we've had for years and years.

More books on the end table...

And there you go! The happiest room in our house :)

Happy Tuesday, friends!!!

  1. I love it. I have a brightly decorated tree in our sunporch and also a nativity with bright felt figures. Thank you for sharing!

  2. Love, love, love! That tree is my favorite! I'm doing a fun "ugly ornament" little tree in my sunroom this year. I'm off to try and find some fun garland.

  3. Where did you find the vintage screen? I need a really large piece of artwork for our living room and haven't found anything I like.

  5. Love it all! Our tabletop playroom tree died last year so I’m on the hunt for a skinny tree like this to make whimsical and fun! Thanks for the ideas ❤️
