Weekend Top 10

This weekend was packed with fun.  First up was a trip to the Harlem Globetrotters for Mason for his friends' birthdays.  They had awesome seats and Mason now wants to be a Globetrotter when he grows up.

I think he can totally make it :)

While Mason was watching trick shots and having a blast - Luke, Griffin and I ran a couple of errands and then found some fabulous Beyonce wind and had a moment :)

Saturday morning was "the purge" at our house where we tackled the kids rooms and it was AWESOME!  Later that afternoon we met Dave's family for lunch at Hutchins...

Where some of us enjoyed some delicious BBQ and others enjoyed mac and cheese on white bread :)

To his credit the mac and cheese is delicious!

Saturday night we went to the TCU/OSU game and cheered...

... and macarana'd our hearts out in the stands.

And after the game we spent some time on the field...

... where the boys got to meet some of their favorite players, take pictures and even get a couple of player gloves.  It was SUCH a fun night!

Sunday morning we got our festive on (earrings)...

... and kicked off Christmas at the Deck the Halls service at church.  It was awesome and so much fun to see lots of friends in the program.

After lunch we bundled up (because HOLY WIND!) and headed to the square.

Home for the Holidays is one of our favorite days downtown McKinney and this year was the chilliest year to date but we still had a great time.

Griffin LOVED her some Mrs. Claus!

I mean.  I can't even deal!

Boys went to get tickets and G and I stopped at Sharla's to check out the gorgeous windows...

We stopped and caroled...

... got some puppy kisses...

... and crafted ornaments.

We took the annual sleigh photo...

... raced RC cars...

... and got our petting zoo on :)

We made a pit stop for pie...

... and did a little bit of shopping.

A few of the things we typically like to do (mainly the big slide) was already taken down due to the high winds but it still smelled like Christmas and we soaked it in...

One last swing through Mrs. Claus...

... and a quick hug for Santa and we were on our way.

We headed to bed early Sunday night, but not before some snuggle time... and yes... it involved Christmas movies on iPads :)

We're all back at school today and are EXCITED for the next few weeks.  We have a TON of fun things planned and are excited to celebrate all month long.

Happy Monday, friends!!!

  5. What a great weekend. I love that you were able to go down to the field after the TCU game. We can sometimes do that at WSU games. I am with you on all the festivities and fun throughout the next month. Bring it on! Happy Monday!
