Weekend Top 10

Friday was a day off of school and our big plans to head to the State Fair were thwarted by an ear ache but we made the most of the GORGEOUS weather (and Dave being off for most of the day) and spent out morning outside...

As a no-state fair consolation prize we headed to Moviehouse to see Littlefoot.  It was CUTE!!!  We all enjoyed it and ate way too much popcorn :)

Luke!!!

(PS - you can find Griffin's kitty purse  HERE)

After the movie we ran a few errands including Target and Costco.  We MAY have even gotten a head start on Christmas lists :)

After Dave went in to work we laid low for the rest of the evening.  We played games, read through a couple of  new (and AMAZING!) pop-up books and called it an early night.

Saturday morning was SO NICE... low sixties and a peek of Fall.  Mason made his way outside to read on the patio - the best!

Griffin was cheering at a first-grade flag football game so I got her all dressed and ready and we headed out!  She was BEYOND excited to do some sideline cheering!

LOVING IT!

She had SUCH a fun morning!

And look who we saw!!!  Griffin told her friends that she was going to cheer for Bowen "just a little bit" even though he was on the other team :)

After a trip to the grocery store and a quick stop at home we headed back out for Mason's flag football game.  The fields were already wet and a 5-minute DOWNPOUR right at the beginning of his game made it ridiculously muddy.  Needless to say - he had a blast :)

So Saturday Luke still wasn't feeling 100% and so he was staying with my mom while Dave, Mason, Griffin and I went to the game.  Mason had to be there early so Griffin and I dropped them off and then headed to pick up a drink and when we got back to the fields I got out of the car and was all, "oh... what's that noise" and then realized that it was AIR POURING OUT OF MY TIRE.  Awesome.  Thankfully we got it taken care of but my mom and Luke had to come get us from the fields and when she rolled up and saw Mason COVERED in med she made him strip off his shoes, socks and jersey before getting in.  SO FUNNY!

Saturday night we spent a couple of hours before bedtime riding bikes, playing with chalk and having foot races around the cul-de-sac.  The sky was INCREDIBLE and we had a great time just hanging out.

After a FULL day and lots of time outside the rest of our evening looked like this :)

Well... that's TEN and so I'm going to save our Sunday pics (we went to Oktoberfest and had so much fun!) for another day.  I hope y'all had a wonderful weekend!

HAPPY Monday, friends!
