Weekend Recap

Happy Monday, friends!!!  This weekend was a great one - I checked A LOT of events off of my to-do-list and made some good headway toward THE LAST DAY OF SCHOOL!!!

Friday was water day at school for Griffin and then Mason and Luke both had birthday parties to go to after school and that night and since Dave was working it was just a crazy busy day.  It was also the day of the middle school semi-formal that I'm in charge of so it was pretty much non-stop :)

I did all the shopping for the formal earlier in the week and was so blessed to have a couple of crazy-talented moms put it all together at the country club Friday morning while I was teaching.  After school and a staff meeting I picked up FIVE HUNDRED CAKE POPS and brought them to the club and was BLOWN AWAY by how pretty the moms had made the room look.

That afternoon I ran a couple last-minute errands, got the kids all situated and off to their parties and that evening I had the dance from 8 - midnight.  Cake pops and a giant burger kept me going :)

Saturday morning we were NOT up pre-5 am to watch the royal wedding but we did watch the replay at 11 a.m. :)

We had a pretty low-key morning and then it was RECITAL TIME!!!

I feel like I nailed the ballerina bun which I only credit to the hair pins and mousse I ordered on Amazon last week :)

One last picture in front of Gibi and Haha's pretty flowers...

... and then it was show time!  Y'all... her class did so well!  When I get the official video (yes... I ordered it to watch her ONE dance - hahaha) I'll see if I can share her performance because it was the cutest!

A quick stop for ice cream was a must for our little dancer and then it was home to crash early because exhaustion finally kicked in.

Sunday morning we were feeling extra twirly...

... and all three of them were looking SO BIG!!!

Sunday afternoon we had a special little family outing (I'll share about that later) and then we spent the rest of the day in the pool.

We love us a summer evening and can't wait to savor them over the next few months.

Happy Monday, friends!!!
