Griffin Graduates

I can't even believe I'm writing this post but I am and I'm determined to be nothing but happy and excited about our girl graduating Pre-K and heading to Kinder... okay and maybe just a little nostalgic, too :)

This was her yesterday morning before her last day of Pre-K...

... and a little comparison between yesterday and August of 2017...

And one more flashback to August just because she's so stinkin' cute!

Her graduation was yesterday morning and Mason asked us to pull him out of class so he could cheer on his sister.  He pulled this sign out of his backpack and my heart melted.

Can we talk for a minute about how the Pre-K teachers MADE these decorations?!?!  Like... along with teaching 20+ 4 and 5 year olds all day long they crafted those flowers and the sun.  SO AWESOME!

It was short and sweet - they sang a couple of songs (in which we got to see Griffin shake her hips to "This Little Light Of Mine") and then it was time to walk the stage...

Her teachers have been SUCH a blessing this year.  Griffin has learned so much and they have been patient, supportive and loving.  It's been a great year!

After the ceremony I had to get back to my class (they were in the middle of an exam) and my mom had to get back to work, but Gram (Dave's mom) and Haha were there to celebrate!

And look at this sweet little craft they had hanging up...

#goals ;)

We couldn't be prouder of Griffin and how well she's done this year and now we're officially parents of THREE elementary-aged kids... which is a bit of a hard pill to swallow ;)

Kindergarten, she's ready for ya! (but not quite yet... mama wants to sleep in a bit first!)
