Friday Favorites

Happy Friday, friends!!! On the top of our list of FAVORITES today is all things art :)  We've been feeling extra crafty around here and I LOVE it!  Yes, it's kind of a mess - but it's better than a screen and it's been way too wet to get outside.

We love  these paints because they're easy to use, washable and less mess than traditional tempera paints.  We've had our set over a year and they're still going strong!

If y'all have FAVORITES from the week I'd love for you to join me, Erika and Narci and link up and share!

I mentioned earlier in the week that I went to a FAVORITE beauty product exchange over the weekend.  I shared my FAVORITE mascara and wrapped it up in this cute cactus paper :)

I was walking up to lunch on Monday and ran into my FAVORITE girl doing her door-holder-duty :)

On Monday Mason started vision therapy and look how cute two of my FAVORITE guys are!!!

Dave and Mason were at VT and I picked up these two cuties and their shields for Boosterthon.  And yes... Griffin is shoeless.  No judging. ;)   Their sweet little faces all proud of their art are my FAVORITE!

If you've read here for a while, you know that Ryan Gosling "hey, girl" teacher memes are my FAVORITE.  My students know this too and this week one of them gave me THESE!!!

Yes... those are earrings.  And the best part about the whole situation is that they are my SECOND pair of Ryan G earrings.  Anna Grace gave me a pair a few years ago and so I had to wear those to school this week in honor of my new pair...

A big colorful tote is always on the top of my FAVORITES list and I'm really excited for  this one to come in.  I adore the braiding and think it will be the perfect bag for running around with this summer!

Mason had a football game on Monday and seeing the little sister included in the prayer/huddle at the end was my FAVORITE part :)

Jelly Bean's favorite time of the day is when we get home from school and someone can hold her like a baby...

We met up with Dave's family for dinner this week and the kids FAVORITE part was the big outdoor fireplace...

And this was my FAVORITE part...

It's no secret that shopping for Fall is my FAVORITE, but Spring is a close second...

... the items above are some of my FAVORITE picks for the next few months.

Luke has bene working hard on his Mr. Poppers Penguins project (say that three times fast!) and seeing him work so hard and be so proud has been my FAVORITE!

He needed a DOZEN penguins for his diorama and I didn't want to order them on Amazon (because $$$ and also because of all the problems Prime has been giving me lately I was scared they wouldn't be here on time) so he used a package of wooden doll heads and made these!

He recreated the scene from the book where the opera singer is on stage and the penguins start coming up on stage from the orchestra pit...

and he even put in a working spotlight ;)

Another FAVORITE around our house this week has been  Guess Who... the original version ;)

And last but not least - this picture of Griffin and her friends painting outside made my day!  Getting pictures from the kids teachers is my FAVORITE!

I hope y'all have a fantastic weekend planned - we're hoping to lay low and catch up on some things around the house and get ready for SPRING BREAK!!! (one more week of school!!!)

Happy Friday, friends!

  13. GG painting made me remember back 22+ years when I taught Pre-K. The kiddos LOVED when they got a chance to paint on the easel. :) Luke's little penguins are adorable.
