Show and Tell Tuesday - Want, Need, Wear, Read

Hey, friends!  It's Show and Tell Tuesday and today we're sharing our "want, need, wear, read" lists.
I'd love for you to link up with me at the end of this post or leave your list in the comments.

For the last several years I've been collecting dessert/side plates from Anthropologie.  I love it because Dave can take the kids to Anthro (my FAVORITE!) and let them each pick a plate that they think I'll love (or that they love!) and it kind of reins them in a bit with their selections :)
The best part is that now I have this mismatched set of plates that we use daily for breakfast, dessert, etc.  I also love pulling them out when I entertain and having a pretty assortment.

Here was my table in the summer when I had some girls over...

And here are some of my current favorites...

(The kids have also picked out some of the  best tea towels and  candles from Anthropologie as well!)

A few months ago Jack Bauer chewed a hole in our duvet cover (the hazards of letting your dog sleep with you after your kids eat popcorn in your bed apparently) and I have a MAJOR crush on  this duvet.  Isn't it dreamy?!?!  I'll take the quilt, pillows and light and bright room as well, please!

I feel like this is going to be truly excessive and is a true testament to how much I LOVE our  Dyson stick vacuum... but we NEED a second one for upstairs.  I'm being serious.  I want to mount it in Mason's closet and have it up there so the kids have easy access to it and to help with always having a charged one on hand.  I use our stick vacuum multiple times a day every day because it's so easy to use, so convenient and does a fantastic job.

Herea are lots of things I'm LOVING right now.  I'd be more than happy to wear any of these!

The stack on my nightstand is pretty tall at the moment, but here's what's on my to-read-list...

I'm looking forward to reading y'alls lists!!!

PS - I'm bumping up the next Show and Tell Tuesday to NEXT WEEK!  It's the Christmas Home Tour and I just can't wait two more weeks :)

  1. I have on the Ugg bootie slippers right now and they are so warm. They make an awesome gift, although I got them at Nordstrom Rack last year after the holiday season on sale.

  10. I really, REALLY love your side/dessert plate idea! It's so fun and pretty and then you don't ever have to decide on one print. So also genius!! Also, thank you for the The Hate You Give recommendation. I finished last night at 11:30 p.m. while my whole house slept. So powerful and so different from my life. It really makes you think a lot. Have a great day!

  14. We love our Dyson too! I helped a friend vacuum a mess at her house the other day and it felt like a flashback to the 80s ... so heavy and I had to plug it in. No thanks! LOL!

  15. I kind of love the idea of random dessert plates. I feel like someone else collects random plates, and I think it is the best idea.
I used to collect shot glasses from places I went since they were cheap and always easy to find and pack up to come home. Now I have a box of 50 shot glasses in my garage because who wants to display those? Not me!

I also love this Want, Need, Wear, Read idea. I always
