Happy Monday, Friends!
It was another whirlwind weekend around here and I'm still a little in shock that I'm already sitting down to write this recap.
It was GORGEOUS on Friday and so we went outside as soon as we got home to soak up as much of it as we could. Shoes are optional when it's 80 degrees in February.
Mason was playing at a friend's house and so it was just me and these two...
Obviously I love having all three at home with me, but it's also fun to have just two at a time to see how they interact when they're one-on-one with each other.
While we were playing at the park and eating pizza Mason was hanging out with his bestie :)
I picked up these shirts for them on Zulily and I think they were a hit :)
Saturday Morning I put on my "momiform and G and I headed to dance...
Before class she likes to watch the big girls rehearse.
And then it was off to class!
After dance we had to run an errand at one of our favorite places...
... and of course we had to stop and smell #allthecandles
After errands we ran home for more bike-riding and a quick picnic before basketball.
Packed and ready to watch her big brother play (and by watch I mean play with toys in the stands and try not to get hit by a flying ball). ;)
Luke played a great last game and we are so proud of how much he improved this season. They ended with a win (and slushies!) so you really can't ask for much more than that :)
And back in the stands :) #littlebrothers
Luke's bestie came home with us after the game, but we had to stop by the grocery store first. The BEST bakery manager EVER (seriously... we love her!) always gives the kids fresh tortillas and she invited them back to watch them come off the line.
We crafted and played and enjoyed the rest of our quiet evening at home.
... and just in case they hadn't played enough basketball these two spent a couple more hours outside ;)
Sunday morning we went to church, I taught Sunday school with Shay and then we headed to the club for brunch.
And just for fun....
We went straight from brunch to Mason's first basketball game of the day...
... and he did so well!!!
Griffin was wiped!
Team meeting! They had an hour break and then one last game of the season. I took Luke and GG home and we had some rest time while Dave and Mason stayed to finish the season. Apparently it was Mason's best game so I was super bummed I missed it.
Sunday night we had a great double date with the Shulls and had the best time! We used to enjoy LOTS of kids-free dinners together... but that was 7 kids ago... so it was nice to hang out without having to cut anyone's food into little pieces ;)
We have a busy week ahead - class parties, Valentine's, Math Olympics (woo hoo!), Val-O-Grams, and about 17 other things on the agenda. I'm hoping we'll have lots of cake to fuel us through :)
Happy Monday, friends!!!
PS - Don't forget that tomorrow is Show and Tell Tuesday - we're going to share about our "loves"
