Impromptu Girl's Night

First up - NEW MATILDA JANE is available TODAY!!! It's a BEAUTIFUL collaboration with Joanna Gaines and I have a feeling lots of items are going to sell out.  You can check out the full line HERE and if you'd like to place an order just send your wishlist in to katkempson@matildajaneclothing.com and put Andrea M in as your Jane.  If you have no idea what I'm talking about (it can be confusing at first!) feel free to email Kat and she'll answer any and all of your questions!

Last night Griffin and I had an impromptu Girl's Night and it was SO MUCH FUN!  The boys had engineering and basketball and so I picked Griffin up from school and we headed to the mall to pick up a couple of things, enjoyed dinner of her choice (hummus!) and then went to Play Street Museum where we had been invited to a Miss America Event they were hosting.

The event benefitted the Children's Miracle Network and was absolutely precious.  Savvy was personable, sweet and SO kind to the girls.  She read the girls a story, crowned them as they came in, helped make necklaces and even painted their nails.  She and I chatted about school, art and sweatpants and she was incredibly personable.

We ended the night with a trip to HomeGoods and once again I was reminded how good one-on-one time is for everybody's soul.  Mason is up next for his own "girls night" as he called it and Luke is in the planning phases of his evening :)

I decided to mix it up and put together some of my pictures (I forgot my big camera! BOO!) and shaky snapchat videos along with Griffin's current favorite jam.  Here you go!

And because I know at some point I'll be looking for one of these pictures and will come to this post looking for them here are all the pics :)

Thank you so much to Play Street for hosting such a wonderful event and inviting us to come!

  8. Can we discuss how much I love that she ate that hummus with a spoon?!? My oldest LOVES hummus and this week I mixed in some goat cheese and he declared it the greatest thing ever. Such a fun night!

  9. I wish we had a Play Street Museum where I live. I think it'd be so fun to own a business like that! Also, can you imagine being Miss America and doing activities/playing with little kids all while wearing heels and an evening gown? Bless her heart!
