Friday Favorites - Thankful Edition

Y'all!  We made it! I'm not sure I've EVER been more ready for a break than I am today :)  This has been a WEEK!!!  I have an eye twitch if that tells you anything about my current state.  Yes, an eye twitch.  I'm hoping that a nice relaxing weekend of cooking meals for a group of Freshman girls at our churches DNow weekend, dance class, a birthday party and other activities is just what the doctor ordered :) hahaha

All that said, it's been a super fun week full of lots of FAVORITES.  If you have FAVORITES to share this week be sure to link back to me, Erika and/or Narci and grab our graphic for your post.

First up on my list is ALL the feasting :)  Yesterday I bounced between my own classes and my boys class celebrations and I was thankful to be double fisting Starbucks while I did it.

First up was Mason's Thanksgiving Feast...

Mason's class was the Native Americans and the other Kindergarten class was the Pilgrims (complete with trash bag skirts and shirts - whoever thought of that needs a round of applause)...

The classes prepared all their own food the day before (i.e. snapping green beans, churning butter, shucking corn, etc.) and then the parents cooked the food.  Each class prepared a special dessert for the other class that represented the gifts that the Pilgrims and Native Americans may have exchanged on the first Thanksgiving (cornucopia cookies were one of them, I don't remember the other).

Mason ate the eyes of his turkey before I snapped a picture but look how sweet!

He had the BEST time!  (and yes.... those are Chick-Fil-A nuggets. hahaha)

After Mason's party I had a parent conference, got ready for Friday's plans and then headed to the Second Grade Pie Feast!  DOZENS of pies and 8 year old boys - two of my FAVORITES!

Luke goes to Speech once a week and hanging out with Mason in the waiting room is seriously one of my FAVORITE parts of the week.  He likes to bring paper and pens and draw pictures and I've been teaching him the "dot game" which he's catching onto.  Sometimes  he asks me to sit on the other side of the lobby and then he makes me surprise pictures :)

Ruby Blue has been one of my FAVORITE places to get bows for at least two years.  Her messy bows are what initially brought me to her shop and she's since branched out into clothing and y'all... it's SO GOOD!!! Trisha sent griffin this dress, leggings and bow set last week and I almost squealed when I put it on her because it was so stinkin' cute!

You can grab one for yourself (or anything else in her shop) for 15% off with the code momfessionals

It's soft and stretchy and the pattern mixing KILLS me!  The dress is long enough to be worn without the leggings... but why would you?!?! :)

It looked extra precious with shoes on... but who wants to wear those when you could run around barefoot!?!?! :)

This Veteran's Day craft by Mason was a FAVORITE...

.... as was Griffin's Monday outfit.  Luke said she looked like a teacher :)  I took that as a total compliment.

I popped in to ESS after school and caught Mason having too much fun with some of his FAVORITES!

There's been a teeny chill in the air this week (SERIOUSLY.... WTH, TEXAS?!?!?!) and I threw on a couple of my FAVORITES :)

Dress is from last year - SORRY!!!

I was looking for a few birthday gifts on Amazon last night and discovered that some of our FAVORITE toys are marked down 50%!  These are so much fun!!! Luke LOVES them!!!

I ordered my boys the STEM Challenge set because I loved how it will give them challenges and tasks to do... and it was just under $16! SCORE!!!  I grabbed a couple of sets for birthday gifts as well.  If you invite my boys to a birthday party in the next few months this is what you'll be receiving :)

I picked up a couple of little fir trees for our porch and Griffin has been smelling them every chance she gets.  Apparently fir tree is her FAVORITE scent:)

She was REEEEALLY excited about those trees...

... and her pink clogs :)

Y'all.  The Obama/Biden memes have been one of my FAVORITE things this week and I don't see them getting old anytime soon.

I mean...

Last on my list today is the JOOVY caboose toy stroller!  I've been a BIG fan of Joovy for a long time and was tickled when they asked if they could send us a doll stroller and car seat set.  Dave and I assembled it while Griffin gathered the babies and their supplies and we immediately set out on a walk :)

And look at the little car seat!!!  It comes with an actual base that you can put in your car!  And the stroller comes with a bar that allows you to put the carrier on it.  SO FUN!

I mean!

Be sure to head to my Instagram today and find out how you could win a stroller and car seat set for a little girl (or boy! Mason loves playing with it too!) in your life.

Happy Friday, Friends!!!

PS - Thank you so much to Ruby Blue for sending Griffin the precious outfit and Joovy for providing us with the stroller and car seat as well as the set for the giveaway.  It's my absolute pleasure to partner up with such amazing companies!  Also, this post contained affiliate links which means that if you clicked on a link and made a purchase I may receive a commission.  THANK YOU for reading and supporting my blog! :)

  10. Where to begin??? OK, First - you need to get little miss thing a Fresh Balsam candle from Bath and Body...seriously smells like a tree! Second - You do know she constantly looks like a little catalog page, right? Her cuteness kills me❤️. Third - Those trash bag skirts...GENIUS!! That little group of Pilgrims and Indians were P.R.E.C.I.O.U.S. I think that school must be awesome and y'all obviously have some great people working there. Happy Friday Andrea! Enjoy your busy weekend.😊

  14. I can't seem to find the giveaway. Any pointers? I've been eyeing the Joovy doll products for my little one's Christmas gift. She's been using a backpack as a "car seat" for her baby - She would flip over the Joovy stroller and car seat combo!
