Weekend Recap - Day Late Edition

Happy Tuesday, Friends!  This weekend was a good one!

Jack Bauer got a haircut...

and Luke got a freak injury.

(seriously! how in the HECK did he do this to his leg on a wicker basket is beyond me!)

We had Family movie night...

... and I saw this and laughed.  Then cried.  Then laughed.  Then cried.  Because IT'S FREAKING HOT!!!

Griffin and Jack Bauer had some quiet time on the couch...

... and then cheesed it up asking for treats (both of them) ;)

The boys spent the morning at my parents house and came home starving (despite eating a GIANT breakfast) and got to have a special treat of watching a movie while they ate lunch.  #bonus

Griffin and Mason spent a solid 30 minutes locking each other in the closet under the stairs...

... and when Daddy came home for a break (he went into work at 5:30 a.m. most mornings last week) Griffin pretty much did this the entire time he was home.  Sweet, sweet daddy's girl.

The littles boycotted their naps and ended up passed out on the couch...

... and when Mason woke up at NINE PM (NOOOOOOO!!!!!) he and I watched some TCU baseball and ate ice cream in bed :)

Griffin and baby were ready for church...

... and Sunday night these three hung out with Dave while I hosted girls night.

And what one picture did I take at girls night?  One of one of my very favorite attendees... cream cheese with red pepper jelly on top.  Just trust me.

Hoping y'all had an awesome weekend!  The boys are at science and art camps this week and I'm playing chauffeur ;)  We have plans to hang out with family and, of course, get in some pool time.

Happy Tuesday, friends!

    1. Cream cheese is a requirement at girls night. Courtney brought that smoked gouda pimento spread/dip stuff from Market STreet. It was a good night.

  10. Anything with cream cheese is delish! And those wicker baskets can be lethal! Glad that it wasn't too deep of a cut for Luke. The "freak-accidents" make the best stories later on.

    1. IT was crazy!!! He was crawling around building a fort and next thing we knew he had a 10" jagged gash on his leg! So so so strange! WE even looked the basket over for wires or something else and nothing!

    1. Right?!?! IF by making you mean spooning jelly over a block of cream cheese :) Probably my favorite appetizer.

  12. Awww, little girls and their daddy's...so sweet. I love it! I just love watching my daughter with my husband...he always knows how to get her to laugh when she's crying hysterically.

  13. Will you share or do a post on which Apps GG uses or likes best on the kids kindle? Our daughter has the same one and we are Kindle newbies and kind of struggling with getting her to use it over our iPad. I saw Griffin using it on snapchat and she is so cute! But, if I'm being honest I also don't really know how to use snapchat...pretty tech challenged over here. Thanks!
