Friday Favorites - TWO Giveaways Edition

Happy Friday, Friends!  This week has been crazy.  Packing, cleaning, organizing, traveling, etc. I'm ready for a weekend. ;)

ErikaNarci and I are all sharing our Friday Favorites - and you should too!  Grab our graphic, link back to one (or all!) of us and share away!

I mentioned Luke's bug day last week, but didn't have any pictures from the day to share since I was teaching.  Well, his teacher posted some super cute ones so I thought I'd share!

They even had a bug expert come in and so a demonstration/lesson.

And if you're looking for a cute craft, this one that Luke brought home may be my FAVORITE bug craft ever!

It's a bug glove!

So our house officially hits the market today which means that I spent a TON of time this week getting everything ready.  Cleaning and organizing are two of my FAVORITES - but having a huge looming deadline, not so much.

After several long days and late nights I'm proud to say that 75% of our belongings are packed up and our house officially looks like no one lives in it. hahaha

While I was cleaning out our master closet I came across a bag of school uniform jumpers.  Our school isn't requiring the jumpers anymore, so when a couple small ones came into the uniform resale shop the receptionist set them aside for GG :)  I couldn't resist trying one on her and I DIED!!!  Her little face is my FAVORITE!!!

The kids will each have their own room in the new house and our plan is to have them repainted before we move in.  That's a good plan... except for the fact that that means I'll need to pick out paint colors.... which means that I need to figure out what I'm going to do in their rooms.  I let the boys pick out their own bedding earlier this week and they each selected their FAVORITES.

On Monday I got to have an extra sweet face along for a few after school errands.  Miley is one of Griffin's FAVORITE people and I love seeing these two special friends giggle :)

Every year I get to spend a couple of days with some of my FAVORITE people (my co-workers and 8th graders) as we travel to Space Center Houston for the NASA After Dark program.  This year was extra special because we got to attend a special program honoring astronauts from expedition 44 including Scott Kelly who just completed a year in space.

We got to see NASA's Expedition Awards ceremony, then hear Scott and another astronaut talk about their time in space and last got to participate in a Q&A portion.  It was so neat to hear our kids ask great questions and get to interact with the crew.

Several of the activities we had planned were rained out, but considering the devastation that happened in Houston earlier in the week, the inconvenience was minor.  Along with the space center portion, my other FAVORITE parts of the trip are hanging out with my co-workers on the bus ride there and back and getting to have fun with the girls in my hotel room.  Think face masks, girl talk, snacks and games :)

Facetime is our FAVORITE!  Please note that Mason is facetiming with an entire bus full of 8th grade girls :)

Now to brag on Dave :)  He's my FAVORITE for a lot of reasons - but his ability to hold down the fort and have a blast while doing it tops the list.

Plus, he sends me lots of pictures, which he knows makes my day :)

Hula hoop time before picking up her brothers...

... and then a visit to see Uncle Stephen at the Honda dealership :)

Then dinner at the park!  #rockstardad

And keep in mind that Dave was also taking the lead on housekeepers, carpet cleaners, window washers, house photographers and dealing with some of the house negotiations.  He's the best.

Last, getting to do giveaways for some awesome products is one of my FAVORITE parts of blogging. and today I have TWO giveaways for y'all!!!

Giveaway No.1 is from Feel Good Frames!  If you remember, they did my awesome ornaments for our North Pole Breakfast and just gave me a couple of frames that we can't wait to give to Gibi and Gram!  Our bluebonnet pics were PERFECTION in them!

You can get 15% off right now with the code MOMSDAY15 and we're giving away a 4x6 frame of your choice!  These would be a great Mother's Day or graduation gift!

Also, a couple of weeks ago I talked about our new Usborne books and am excited to get to give away a $50 Usborne Giftcard!

You can shop the Usborne book library HERE.

I'm off school today (we have a few bad weather days that we never used) and I'm looking forward to some quality time with two of my FAVORITE little guys :)   And then this weekend two of my FAVORITE people have birthdays!  We can't wait to celebrate both Gibi AND Haha!

Happy Friday, Friends!!!
