Friday Favorites - Parties and Pineapples Edition

Woo hoo for Friday!!! This week I've actually thought it was Friday at least twice before today :)  #workingmomprobs

Today Erika, Narci and I are sharing our Friday Favorites.  Link to yours below!

I meant to share this a couple of weeks ago, and it's too good not to share!  That one time Dave TOTALLY surprised me with a 30th birthday party.  All of my FAVORITE people were there and it is hands down one of the sweetest things he has ever done for me.

Because if you have to turn 30 you should totally do it with all of your besties by your side, right???

And as I was reminiscing about the party I reread my mom's comment and may have ugly cried a bit.
I mean!  So thankful for this group of fierce and feisty women!!!  #fcforever ;)

I've been sporting some fun spring polishes lately.  The three below are some of my FAVORITE shades for Spring!

Going through folders after school is one of my FAVORITE parts of the day because I LOVE seeing what the boys bring home.  They're not typically the most forthcoming with info on the way home, but when we start going through folders they always have a lot to say :)

In the van on the way home...
"Me: So!  Who wants to tell me about the best part of your day?"
Boys: silence
Me: "Luke, tell me two awesome things that happened today, please."
Luke: I sat with Lincoln at lunch and played soccer at recess.
mmmmkay.

Look at this little book that Mason brought home! He sounded out and words by himself!!! (although I'm thinking he must have seen the word friend somewhere???)

And speaking of school, how awesome is this???

Those are some precious little Israelites!

Griffin's FAVORITE day of the week?  Saturday when she goes to dance :) But a close second is Mondays when she's home with Dave. hahaha

My love for my FAVORITE Free People clogs run deep and since they've been sold out forever I'm always looking for similar pairs to share.  These are super cute!  And a great price!  I love the woven toe for Spring.  Check them out HERE.

And if you're looking for a great pair of booties, I think these would be worth picking up and holding on to until Fall.

Monday mornings are not necessarily my FAVORITE, but getting to worship with the students I teach is the best.  I have no clue why this is sideways.  Technical difficulties :)

Next up is a cute new dress from one of our FAVORITE brands, Sew Chill.

The color is bright and fun and the pineapple print is going to be great for Summer.

Oh. My. Word.
Because I have a feeling that her days of wanting to wear shoes with coordinating fruit on them may not last forever.  #carpefruitshoes ;)

If you need a pineapple dress of your own (or anything else from Sew Chill) you can use the code aloha15 to save 15% off your whole order.  Also, I'm going to be giving one away on my Instagram later today!

Last up is the new Navy Sophie from Evy's Tree.  So comfy and the stripes are my FAVORITE!

This weekend is actually shaping up to be pretty low-key.  Bitty Ball is over and Luke doesn't have a game this weekend.  Aside from a birthday party, our calendars are pretty clear and we couldn't be happier!
Happy Friday, Friends!!!

  5. The after school answers only get shorter as they get older haha. As always, GG's outfits are on point!! I bought a few of those bow headbands after reading one of your previous posts. I absolutely love them. Hallie has been wanting headbands over bows, and they are so adorable. I need to purchase some more colors. I couldn't find the navy sophie on the site. Am I just crazy? I've been wanting a sophie style. I already have the ruffle cardigan in navy, but it's okay to have two navy, right? :) Happy Friday!!

    1. I feel like once I can get them talking they have a lot to say. Both of their teachers are great about updating their websites with pics and videos or they'll send home a quick email saying things like, "be sure to ask your child about x, y and z" whis is awesome. I don't see the navy sophie on the site either!!! I'm guessing that it sold out? Sometimes they'll reconcile their inventory and put it back up on the site.

  12. Have you tried those brands for the booties. I've not had luck with random brands on Zulily, so I'm hesitant to buy anything on there.

    1. I haven't ;( I've picked up a couple of other random ones before and it's been hit or miss. But I do know they've always had great customer service for me if I haven't loved something I've bought.

  14. I get the song Good, Good Father stuck in my head at least once a day! I love it! So awesome that you have that time to worship with your students, but it's just as awesome for them to see you (& their other teachers) worshipping right along side them! Have a great weekend with your family!

  19. For any Sally Hansen Insta-Dri fans, I found a color that seems to be very similar to Play Date (I held the color up to Play Date). It's called Lively Lilac. :)
