Weekend Recap - Low Key Edition

I'm going to be honest - after last week none of us were up for a whole lot this weekend.  We had minimal plans which was PERFECT!!!

Friday night we got home from school, changed into comfies and all hung out in my bed watching Sofia while we wiated for pizza.  Dave ran home for a break and snapped these of me and the kids getting our snuggle on on his way out the door :)

Saturday morning I took a SUPER excited GG to dance class.  She's been asking about it pretty much every day for the last three weeks.  She was so happy to get back in the studio!

While Griffin was at dance, Dave took Mason (and a wicked case of bedhead) to his first session of Itty Bitty Ball at church.

He was nervous about going, but Dave said he listened really well and when it was over he said he loved it.

Look how cute he is!!!

When we got home from dance Griffin requested her favorite song so she could dance to it.  Y'all - she loves this song and her little freestyle is the cutest thing ever.

We spent the rest of the day doing laundry, taking naps and running around in daddy's Ninja Turtles shirt from the eighties :)

My mom came over Saturday night and this was the sweet scene in my kitchen after dinner :)

Sunday morning we did church and I tried to snap a picture of the kids together, but Griffin did NOT want to stand with her brothers.  I stood with them thinking that would remedy the situation... not so much.

hahahaha ;)

The remedy???  Sitting on the counter and a banana all for herself. ;)

Luke's friend came over in the afternoon and the three boys played Legos, in the sandbox and Mario Kart.  Then they all went to AWANAs.  Handsome crew!

I spent most of Sunday doing this...

Oh. My. Word.
There is a ton of cuteness headed out the door tomorrow!!!

We're organized and rested and ready to take on the week.  PLUS - there's a three-day-weekend on the horizon so we have some extra pep in our step ;)

I hope y'all had a fantastic weekend and are having a great start to your week!!!

  6. My daughter just turned 2, and is in a dance class called Tutu Tots. Watching GG dance, just makes me smile. She and my daughter Reagan have similar dance style and moves. I also just ordered and received my 2016 planner from Day Designer, and I am obsessed with it! I have been searching for a planner, and this one is a perfect fit. Thank you for posting about it. It was worth every penny!!

    2. Awana (derived from the first letters of Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed as taken from 2 Timothy 2:15) is an international evangelical nonprofit organization founded in 1950. It's a weekly program equipping leaders to reach kids with the gospel and engaging them in long-term discipleship.

    1. No ladder involved :) He was giving all the kiddos kisses before he left and he took my phone and just held it up high.
