Weekend Recap: Greatest HoCo On Earth Edition

Happy Monday, Friends!  The weekend has come and gone and I'm thankful for a couple of things...
1) Homecoming week is over! #hallelujah
2) Cooler weather is here!!! (insert happy dance here)

Thursday afternoon it rained and a cold front blew in - Friday morning was crisp and cool and was perfect for the Spirit Breakfast I planned for our middle schoolers.  40+ dozen donuts and 180 middle schoolers :)

Griffin and Dave stopped by to bring me lunch and came an an opportune time. hahaha  Griffin socialized like a BOSS and had the best time eating donuts and talking with the big kids.  She was rocking her blue and gold just for the occasion.

At the pep rally (pepper-rally according to Mason) I got to see these sweet faces...

I started at MCA ten years ago and we had about 3 cheerleaders and a graduating class of four.  Every time we have a pep rally I think back to have far we've come in ten years.  God is good!

After the pep rally and one more class, my middle school student government kids and I met up with the high school reps to decorate for the dance.  Our dance is Friday night and High School's is Saturday night and so we share decorations.  It's awesome!

Also, this happened on Friday and I laughed so hard!  If it's good enough for Katy Perry, it's good enough for me! :)

After a few hours of decorating, I picked up the boys from ESS and we headed home.  They both were snoring in the van by the time we pulled into the driveway and so I grabbed my new Evys Tree hoodie and we met up with Dave and Griffin at Adriatica so he could snap a few pics of me in it.

Little Miss is not one to sit on the sidelines and so I ended up with some sweet pics of her and I.

I've received lots of questions about my shoes - they're Jeffrey Campbell for Free People, but they're a few seasons old.  This pair is really similar and comes in several great colors.

I had to wake both boys up when we got home and after dinner my parents came over to watch the kids and I headed back to school for the dance.  It didn't start until 10 pm since there was a Varsity football game happening and it lasted until midnight.  I was running solely on cotton candy and Starbucks :)

We did a "vintage circus" theme and everything turned out so cute!!!

A parent painted these amazing posters for me and they were the absolute stars of the show.
In the lobby of the gym we set up three different little photo booth areas.

It was such a fun night and the kids had a blast.

Saturday morning came quickly and Griffin rocked her leotard and dance...

... and we came home, changed clothes and picked up Haha to go to Home Depot with us to work on the Kids Workshop project since Dave had to go in to work.

We actually got the last two projects of the day and since Griffin didn't have one to work on (like she really would have worked on it. hahaha) she and I checked out the garden center and out in one of their sample sheds.

After some time in the bounce house, we perused the Halloween decor...

After lunch and rest time, Luke had a soccer game and played great.  And he had a blast hanging out on the sideline with Lincoln :)

Sunday morning someone had a serious case of the giggles :)

And that same person was bound and determined to annoy her brother however she could :)

He is amazingly patient with her.  AMAZINGLY!

After lunch I finished up some decorating and Griffin went up and down the ladder about twice as many times as her brothers :)

The boys went to AWANAs and G and I had some snuggle/book time.

We finished the night off with a family dinner and a viewing of Frozen (because it never gets old).  It was an early bedtime night for everyone and we're looking forward to a "normal" week.

If you're a fan of Farmgirl Paints hand stamped cuffs, be sure to set your phone alarms for this morning!  She's loading new leather and I love them all!  The top right was my initial first pick, but the bottom left and center cuff are speaking to me as well.   Decisions, decisions!  I have a couple on the way to me and I can't wait to share them with y'all later this week!

Don't forget, you can still use the code MOMFESSIONALS for 15% off your order!

Also, I haven't loved the Pottery Barn Kids Christmas plates the past couple of years, but think the ones they just put up on their website are precious!!!  I can't wait to have them on the kids table this Holiday season!

And every year I get lots of questions about my boys Christmas sheets - well, they're available now as well!!!

I hope y'all have a fun week planned!  Tomorrow is Show and Tell Tuesday and we'll be sharing about our very first jobs... I can't wait!  And Wednesday my plan is to share our Halloween decor.

Have a FANTASTIC day!!!
