Happy Hump Day, y'all!!! I am half way through my Pre-AP training for the week (insert big 'ol WHOOP right here!) and even though I've been learning TONS and am 100% excited to get in the classroom to put LOTS of awesome ideas into practice - I am also more than ready to stay in my PJs and wrestle with my kiddos on Friday. I'm not going to lie - I've really enjoyed going to the bathroom alone while at the training but it's a trade off because no one there tells me I'm gorgeous when they want a cookie and there's no fighting over who I sit next to at lunch. :)
I did a post similar to this back in January, but I know several of y'all are new around here and so I wanted to go back and visit it again. When we added Griffin to the mix, Luke was IMMEDIATELY the adoring, doting and loving big brother. He sang to her, wanted to hold her and would impart his big brotherly knowledge on her on a daily basis :)
Mason.... not so much. He and "Gwippin" have a cute and "quirky" relationship that I document on Instagram with the hashtag #gwippin
Like this picture from last night... "Gwippin loves my hugs, Mommy!" :) hahaha
I snapped these this past weekend - Mason kept asking her for a bite of her cookie and she was NOT having any of it (but she was eating up the attention from him - hahaha)
These were also from this past weekend...
And the past few weeks and months...
This one is probably my favorite Gwippin post ever - it was the eve of GG's first birthday (Mason's 3rd birthday) and I seriously cried like a baby...
There are more Gwippin posts from even farther back - and I doubt they'll be stopping any time soon.
This is a hoot, and these two are precious!!:)
ReplyDeleteThose two really are so cute together!! And I can totally see how Miss G is about to really give Mason a run for his money...that girl is going to be feisty in the best possible way :).
ReplyDeleteThat Mason is something else!!! Sad I missed him on Monday!!
ReplyDeleteDon't EVER stop the Gwippin posts!!! Love their sweet little relationship. There is nothing sweeter than watching relationships bloom between sibling! Sweet sweet family girl!!!!
ReplyDeleteI love these pics - what a sweet relationship! Your Mason pics and the things he says crack me up. You are one blessed mama!
ReplyDeleteMy Top 3 Favorites: the block one, the screaming one (I laugh every single time I see that pic. Mason looks genuinely terrified), and "quit standing up you're a baby". HILARIOUS.
ReplyDeleteLooks like little Ms. Griffin can totally handle Mason!

ReplyDeleteHe sounds like he has a relationship like Axle and Lee do!!
Okay, I have to comment. I have three kiddos - two boys and a girl - who are about 13-14 years ahead of your little family. These photos bring back sooooo many memories! You are a great mom to have captured so many cute moments! I guess I'm feeling nostalgic because my oldest is moving to college in three weeks but many of your little pics made me tear up! Lol!
ReplyDeleteKelsea's post just had me crying real tears in my office. Thank you for sharing such a beautiful piece and such a beautiful heart. It truly puts every step of motherhood and being a wife into such true perspective.
