Favorite Things - July

For some reason it feels like FOREVER since we've done one of these!  I always love seeing everyone's $10 finds and this month is no exception!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE using these faux red delicious apples in my back to school decorating.  They are THE MOST realistic ones I've ever found and they're $9.99 for a bag of 5 at Hobby Lobby.  Use your 40% off coupon and they're a STEAL at $6.

I use them in apothecary jars...

... as well as tucked into garland to make it a little more "back to school".  Switch them out for some mini pumpkins and you're set for Fall!

As a teaser... I used them last night for a SUPER FUN Kindergarten Kickoff Dinner Shay and I hosted.  (I'll blog more pics later this week!)

We have been playing LOTS of UNO in our house.  LOTS.
I am not the world's biggest fan of Chutes and Ladders and War, but love me some UNO and Luke TOTALLY gets the concept which makes playing really fun.

I realize that I am a crazy person - but I am kind of already thinking about Halloween decorating.  Let's be real.  I'm thinking about it a lot. :)

I LOVE these big gothic-y black frames for October and I found LOTS at Ross this past weekend for $5.99.  Pop a pic of your kiddos dressed up last year in the frame and set out a bowl of candy corn next to it - instant festivity!  If you're crazy like me and are starting to think about next year - check out my post from last year for a few fun ideas :)  After you do that, run out and grab some of these frames!!!

If you're looking for a great leopard scarf - this one is on sale at Forever 21 for $6!  Yes - SIX DOLLARS!!!  Stocking stuffers, anyone?!?!?!

I also found this scarf that I LOVE - because I am a total sucker for pom poms.  And it's only $8.80!

Also, these aren't under $10, but I wanted to share them today before they sell out!  UGG Australia is on HauteLook right now and there are still lots of cute styles for kids (and women!) available.

These cute pink boots are $79 (normally $150)...

... and I am OBSESSING over these boys Chukka style shoes for $39 (normally $65).  LOVE!

Okay, peeps! Hit me with your favorite finds!

  13. I just found your blog through pinterest, and I love it! You seem to have such fun with your kids and really enjoy this time in your life while they are young. It is inspiring me to embrace it and make the holidays/seasons memorable for our family as well. And you truly seem like a very busy lady, even though you don't constantly boast about that (which is refreshing... moms seem to do that a lot!)

I would love to know more about where you buy some of your clothing... your fashion sense is adorable!

    1. Thank you for your sweet words! They can't be anything BUT little right now - so I figure I'll embrace it and make the most of it :) And yes... I really enjoy making holidays and even regular ol' days fun and memorable. As far as busy goes - I think everyone has their own "busy" so it's not something that I typically talk about. hahaha

My clothes are kind of all over the place - my style errs on the "unique" side so Anthropologie often fits the bill and I love Matilda Jane Clothing as well. I also get things from Nordstrom, GAP and random local boutiques. Hope this gave you enough info! If you have questions about a specific outfit just let me know!

      Thanks for reading!
      :) Andrea
