What's On... Your Nightstand!

Happy Monday, friends!!!  This weekend was an absolute WHIRLWIND!!!  More about that tomorrow, because today is "What's On.... Your Nightstand!"

Not going to lie... I kind of forgot about this until after our Sunday School class's family picnic tonight. hahaha. So this is 100% authentically my nightstand tonight :)

My iPhone would normally be on here charging as well... but I was using it to take these high quality photos :)

I don't have much time to read, but I'm trying to make more.  Currently I'm reading....

"His is a generation of boys who have better relationship with their Game Boxes, i-Pods, televisions, and computers than they do with their families.  His understanding of marriage is that it has little hope for success, witnessing a fifty percent divorce rate both inside and outside of the church. His world is one where pornography is no longer a hidden shame, but encouraged entertainment.

Can you raise your son to one day love, lead and protect a wife and family in a world like this?

The answer is yes. The heartbeat of this book is to give you the tools to help your son become a tender warrior who will one day fight for his family, a godly husband who will faithfully love his wife, and a leader who will be a man of his word.

What lists and systems and self-help books have failed to do for young moms in the trenches, Jesus can accomplish blindfolded. Yes, moms are busy, they need a break, and they'd just like a shower. But they are also strong and brilliant and have the power to move mountains. Author and speaker Jen Hatmaker takes the words and deeds of Jesus, adds the humor of a young mom's life, and offers messages of grace and encouragement. She shows overburdened moms forty things Jesus doesn't expect them to do on their own

Using kings of the Old Testament as character studies, Steve Farrar examines the critical role a father plays in preparing his son to become a godly man. What separated the good kings from the bad kings was a father who made time commitments to mentor his son, by modeling biblical manhood.

And my Bible is the True Identity Bible

Here are a few other books I've either read recently or are rereading.

I also keep a notepad/journal so I can jot down info, thoughts and to-do lists before I go to bed.  I get them out of my head and onto paper so I can sleep better :)  There's also a Jameson Monre bow (duh!) and apparently a mini beluga whale. hahaha

My cute owl mug is from Anthropologie this past Fall.  Sorry... they're all sold out :(
This one is really cute, though.... and actually so is THIS one and THIS one too.

I love having fresh flowers on my nightstand and this was after Griffin's pre-bed bottle so that's on there as well.   She's on straight milk now and she CHUGS a 9-oz bottle every night before bed :)

And because they're WAAAAAAAAAAAAY too cute to wait to share.... y'all check out a few of the sneak peeks the AMAZING Kelly posted of my kiddos this weekend :)

They're grainy since I screen shotted them and then posted them... but I can't wait to see them all!!!

So.... what's on your nightstand??? Are you reading anything great?  Is is super clean? A total mess? :)  I can't wait to see!!!
