Bug Day

This past Friday was "Bug Day" at school and Luke had to dress up to participate in the "Bug Day Parade".  I had the BRILLIANT idea of dressing him up as a bed bug... pj pants, bed head, slippers, etc.  When I told him about this (Thursday morning) he told me that bed bugs weren't "real".  Once I had him convinced that they were, in fact, real bugs he informed me that he believed that they were real, but not that they wore pajamas :)  My critical thinker hasn't quite grasped "play on words" yet. :)  So... that left me approximately no time to come up with a "nature bug" costume for him to wear the next morning.  I stumbled upon this random skateboard helmet and was inspired to turn him into a fly...

Grey and black striped sweatshirt, sunglasses and some wings...

Pre-K coming in to the Student Life Center...

My little "Super Fly!"

Waiting for the parade to start with two of his classmates.  There were TONS of little butterflies, ladybugs and bumblebees... but only one fly : ) hahaha

Parade has started! :)

Daddy and Mason came to watch and Mason was ITCHING to get out of his stroller...
