On Friday, our first stop was the Capitol...
Two of my fellow chaperones :)
We visited the House of Representatives and got to watch a vote in process and then we took a tour (which was WAY more fun than I thought it would be)...
After the Capitol we visited the Supreme Court.
After the Supreme Court it was off the the Air and Space Museum (where we ate lunch at the BIGGEST MCDONALDS EVER!!!).
After the Air and Space Museum we visited the Smithsonian Museum of American History...
After the museum we trekked over to the White House...
After the White House we went to dinner and then walked over to the Washington Monument...
... and then the WWII Memorial...
We took the obligatory Washington Monument pics on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial...
We visited the Korean War memorial...
And one last stop at the Lincoln Memorial at night...
Seems like a lot to pack into one day?!?!? It totally was. hahaha. We walked back to the metro station and then to the hotel - another jam packed day! Next day - the train to NYC!
