Saturday Morning at the Depot

Yesterday morning we headed up to Home Depot to pick up a few things and were surprised to find a kids workshop and a firetruck! Luke was super excited to build a helicopter with Daddy :) My sweet boy is Three and a Half today!!!

Workin' hard:
Daddy helping with the nails:

If you're seeing a common theme in my recent posts (the Lighthing McQueen tshirt and flip flops) it's because Luke has decided that he has an opinion on what he wears and that opinion is "I want to wear my lightning McQueen shirt and flip flops!" :)

Taking his helicopter for a test spin:

After he finished his helicopter it was time to check out the fire truck - I promise he was more excited than the pictures show... he just gets super nervous being "up high" (hence the face)

My little builder!

Ringing the bell...
After checking out the fire truck, Luke got to try on a fireman outfit (it's probably not actually called an outfit, I just can't think of what it's called right now - hahaha). First he had to take off his flip flops...

Then it was time for the boots...

... next were the pants and suspenders...
and then the jacket and hat!

OMG! The cuteness!!! :)

Seriously, does it get any better than this for a three and a half year old little boy?!?!!? Building a helicopter with your dad, sitting in a fire truck AND dressing up like a fireman!!! Such a fun and unexpected trip to The Depot :) Can't wait until the next workshop!
