Our Memorial Day weekend was super low key. Sunday we hung out at the pool for the first time (see previous post) and that night Dave and I headed to Dr. Buchanan's office at Adriatica for the Smiles for Habitat event. We got there early to get a spot in the shade, ate a TON of great food (her VIP party was catered by Petra this year - YUM!) and cupcakes by Nothing but Bundt and people watched. We were going to hang out and wait for the main music to start, but decided to head home instead. (I know, party animals!) The only picture I took was of Mason snoozing away...
Monday was a little overcast and gross in the morning so I built Luke a "tent city" to play in. It kept him occupied ALL morning and he begged me not to take it down that night. :)
If you don't have playhut pieces, go out and get some - this entire "tent city" folds up into a bag about the size of a backpack and we store it under his bed. GREAT for rainy days.
