Jamaica - Days 6 & 7

On our last full day in Jamaica we headed to a really nice private beach for the morning. We had chairs and umbrellas (where I stayed pretty much the entire day), snorkel gear, floats, etc., etc., etc.

After about 5 hours at the beach (ha!) we had all had our fill of sun and Sarah and Rachelle decided to have their hair braided. Rose (Pastor Douglas's wife) told them that they could get a much better deal and a better braiding job at the craft market (rather than at the beach) and so we headed that way.
Over an hour in and almost halfway done...
... finished product! Rachelle (on the left) was LOVING her braids, but Sarah was a little more unsure. I tried to reassure her by telling her 1) that she didn't look bald (her biggest concern) and 2) that it was a really cool experience. hahaha
That night Gloria cooked us an amazing farewell dinner (shrimp, chicken and pork chops!) and we sat around the table and talked about our most memorable experience as well as how the trip had affected each of us. It was really special. Anyway, I took over 600 pictures (I know... there's something seriously wrong with me. hahaha) and even though I didn't share all of them on here, I appreciate you bearing with me on all of them - from here on out, it'll be pictures of my super exciting life (sarcastic cough) and ADORABLE little man. :)
