"Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr"

Last Sunday night Dave and my Dad headed to a Stars game and so Luke and I shared a box of mac and cheese and a glass of chocolate milk (among other things) for dinner. For some reason I snapped a BUNCH of pictures, so here we go...This is the first time he'd had chocolate milk in a glass with a straw

Boyfriend chugged that chocolate milk!

Dinner continued and he began pleading for "brrrrrr" (a.k.a. a freezie pop)
I explained that he had to finish what was on his plate before he could have a "brrrrrr" and then went about my business in the kitchen. When I turned around this is what I saw:
Sneaky (and ingenius!) little stinker! I guess it's true that for boys you really have to spell it out sometimes and apparently I should have spelled out that YOU, not Cadence have to finish your dinner.
When he noticed me watching him he quickly picked his plate up and tried to resume looking normal, but I caught him mimicking Cadence's eating before he could. :)
This is where it gets gross - he tries to not get in trouble by then finishing the remaining mac and cheese on the plate. EWWWW!

In the end I couldn't ignore his pleas for "brrrrrrrrrrrrrr"

  1. We have two big dogs in our house. I guess I'll have to be on the lookout for this when Baby Scott arrives!

  3. To be honest, I'm just glad to see that this is happening in homes besides mine. :)
